The project is co-organized by Netval, CRUI, CoDAU, and Galileo Galilei Italian Institute, with the support by China-Italy Technology Transfer Center.

Mission Goals

  • provide an overview of the context of Chinese technology transfer in intellectual property rights, trademarks and patents, contract models and licensing.
  • create networking occasions with local partners, joint research center, technology transfer platform, incubation enterprises as well as investment funds.
  • provide a structural framework and technology transfer procedure, with the help of  experienced players in China.
  • organize a matchmaking activity through the Knowledge Share platform(www.knowledge-share.eu).

Besides, the mission will also provide an overview on:

  • cooperation background on science, technology and innovation as well as the business of Italian and European enterprise in China in these fields.
  • providing individual finance opportunity for joint projects and teacher turnover.

The above mentioned goals will be achieved mainly through face to face talk, different visits and meetings.

ENTI ORGANIZZATORI

NETVAL

Founded in 2002 as an “informal” network within universities, officially became an association on September 2007 and its now composed by almost 79 members, among universities, EPR, IRCCS, foundations and many other enterprises which are participating on research and which represent more than 80% public italian researchers.

Work missions of Netval:

  • share and strengthen the competence of Italian universities and public research units in fields of the enhancement of the research results;
  • develop the link and role between institutions and industries;
  • promote the training and strengthening of specialized competence on business project development and Intellectual property;
  • Comparison activities on the association’s own themes;

The main mission of Netval is to share the information and to spread the Technology Transfer (TT) culture in Italy through initiatives with the purpose to connect with the university and EPR’s Technology Transfer Office(UTT).

NETVAL is recognized as a reference interlocutor in the sphere of knowledge transfer and Third Mission activities: this is demonstrated by the numerous meetings and joint events with MIUR, MISE, MAE, ANVUR and the AICIPI industrial association.

CRUI-Italian University Rectors’ Conference

The Italian University Rectors’ Conference (CRUI) is a public and non-public university association. It was established in 1963. In the very begin, it was a private association within university rectors; over time it has acquired a recognized institutional role and representation and a concrete ability to influence the development of the university system through intensive study and experimentation.

CRUI is:

  • An instrument for the direction and coordination of university autonomy;
  • A privileged place of experimentation of models and methods to be transferred to the university system;
  • The laboratory of sharing and dissemination of Best Practice;
  • A Modern service center available to universities..

Since 2001, the Rectors’ Conference has been joined by the CRUI Foundation, in charge of developing actions to interface the university system and society with a view to the cultural and economic development of the country.

CoDAU- Conference of the University Administrative General Director

The CoDAU- Conference of the University Administrative General Director- is an association established by Italian university administrative general directors, and has the following missions:

  • By respecting their autonomy, carry out coordination and guidance activities in the management of university institutions;
  • Establish systematic relationships with: Ministries, CRUI, ANVUR, CNSU, OO.SS., ARAN, sector committees and other institutional bodies;
  • Activate relations with parliamentary, governmental, trade union organizations and representatives, in order to address issues of interest to the University Institutions;
  • Establish collaborative relationships with similar national and supranational Organizations, to exchange experiences and knowledge of needs and guidelines, in order to formulate evaluations and proposals also of regulatory measures;
  • Promote and enhance the managers of university institutions, also through initiatives aimed at encouraging their formation, growth and professional development.

GALILEO GALILEI ITALIAN INSTITUTE

The Galileo Galilei Italian Institute (GGII) was founded in 2007 under the cooperation between the Sant’Anna School of Advanced Studies and Chongqing University. Its office is located at Chongqing University A Campus, and belongs to the Management Institute of the Sant’Anna School of Advanced Studies.

The GGII organize a series of activities related to the Italian language and culture, focuses on contemporary Chinese issues and especially that recent years have witnessed the development of joint research projects between the Sant’Anna School of Advanced Studies and Chongqing University. Starting from the year of 2017, with the launch of Sino-Italian Innovation Base Camp project, GGII’s mission has been concentrated on the cooperation in science, technology and innovation, so as create a center for the research projects development and joint training and incubator of start-up. The fundamental elements of this project are to bring together university partners and the Italian research world, such as big enterprises, start-ups and financial institutions that would like to invest in Chongqing.

The GGII always keeps a close relationship and cooperation with Italian institutions in China, such as the concrete relationship with Italian Embassy and Consulates, Italian Chamber of Commerce and European Chamber of Commerce and some scientific companies in China.

CITTC – China-Italy Technology Transfer Center

The China-Italy Technology Transfer Center (CITTC) is a platform for the improvement of research and innovative technologies under the Italy-China bilateral cooperation, allocating services to support the technology transfer.

The main purpose of the center is to facilitate scientific and industrial partnerships that favor mutual investments and cultivate talents in the field of technology transfer.

The CITTC provides its interlocutors with technology scouting services on a basis of a matchmaking platform and supports them on company establishment, entrepreneurial training, planning and supervising on joint projects.

The CITTC is combined by two technological work related administrative offices in  Bergamo and Naples– respectively under the supervision of University of Bergamo and the Naples Scientific City of the Frederico II University of Naples – thanks to the Netval network, CITTC works actively on the national territory.

The two administrative offices communicates with the Italian Ministry of Education, University and Research, the Ministry of Science and Technology of PRC, and the Chinese administrative office of Beijing Municipal Science and Technology Commission, to define the strategic priority actions.

The study tour is promoted and supported by Netval, CRUI, and coordinated by Galileo Galilei Italian Institute. The project is organized with the support from scientific department of Italian Embassy in Beijing, from the Consulate General of the Republic of Italy in Shanghai and in Chongqing, and from the China-Italy Technology Transfer Center. – local transport in the city;

– company visit and organization fees.
