We are extremely proud to co-organize, together with our colleagues of the Confucius Institute of Pisa and the Association CEPostopertutti ETS, the series of three Seminars titled “The New Silk Road”, to take place during the whole month of May in Pisa. In the first seminar Marco Bonaglia discussed the historical connections between China and Europe and their evolution through the centuries thanks to the “Ancient Silk Road” and the new “Belt and Road Initiative”, launched by President Xi Jinping in 2013.
