如果列一份重庆旅游景点和体验项目的清单,我相信体验 “黄色法拉利”一定榜上有名。黄色,是法拉利的第二个灵魂,然而 “黄色法拉利”则是重庆人对出租车的褒奖与调侃。在重庆,只需花费数十元就可以让老练的司机师傅带你穿过隐蔽的小巷、绕过拥堵的路段,在蜿蜒的公路上体验一把赛车的风驰电掣。其实,出租车成为普通市民出行可选的交通工具,也不过三十年。

If you need a list of tourist attractions and experiences when visiting Chongqing, I believe that experiencing the “yellow Ferrari”would be on that list. Yellow is the second soul of Ferrari, but “yellow Ferrari” is Chongqing people’s praise and ridicule for taxis here. In Chongqing, an experienced driver can take you through hidden alleys, bypass congested roads and experience the speed of a racing car on winding roads for just tens of RMB. In fact, it has only been 30 years since taxis became an option for ordinary citizens.

1978年9月29日重庆出租汽车总公司成立了,这是重庆首家出租车公司。10月1日国庆节当天,由国家计委、财政部划拨的20辆上海牌小轿车、5辆旅行车正式开始运营。但这些车并不会在城市道路上巡游,它们通常停靠在牛角沱地区,需要用车的乘客需要提前打电话到调度中心联系车辆,再同司机谈好价格后,再上车出发。而且当时的出租车驾驶员是早八晚五,超过这个时间还想用车,对不起,下班了。

On September 29, 1978, Chongqing Taxi Corporation was established, which was the first taxi company in Chongqing. On October 1—the National Day, the company, with 20 Shanghai brand cars and 5 estate cars allocated by the State Planning Commission and the Ministry of Finance, officially started operation. But these cars will not cruise on the city road, they are usually parked in the Niujiaotuo area. Passengers who’s in need of cars should call the dispatch center in advance and negotiate the price with the driver. Taxi drivers worked from eight in the morning to five in the afternoon. No services would be provided after working hours.

到80年代,随着改开的浪潮,市民用车需求增加了,这时来自波兰生产的菲亚特126P(Fiat 126p)和波罗乃兹(Polonez)、日本的尼桑公爵(NISSAN Cedric),以及苏联的拉达(Lada)先后进入市场。每款车型都各具特色,126p的外观看似小巧可爱,却能载客五人,是市民出行的划算之选;尼桑公爵外观硬朗大气、配置豪华,常常停靠在酒店附近待客,主要服务于生意人,而且费用也最高,达1.8元每公里。波罗乃兹和拉达外观一脉相承,线条坚毅、美观大方,影响了后来一大批先富起来的中国人的选车观念,只是这两款车的配置不如尼桑公爵,因此费用稍低,为1.4元每公里。这几款车由于不配备空调,无法应对重庆夏日的酷暑,最终黯淡离场。

By the 1980s, with the reform and opening up, the demand for civic cars increased. Cars from other countries flowed into Chongqing, including the Fiat 126p and Polonez from Poland, the NISSAN Cedric from Japan, and the Lada from the then Soviet Union. Each model has its own characteristics. The 126p looks small and cute, but it can carry five passengers, which makes it a cost-effective choice for citizens to travel. The Duke of Nissan has a tough appearance and luxurious configuration, often stops near the hotel for guests, mainly serving businessmen, and the cost is also the highest, up to 1.8 yuan per kilometer. Polonez and Lada share the same style of appearance with the strong and beautiful lines, but the configuration of these two cars is not as good as the Nissan Duke, so the cost is slightly lower——1.4 yuan per kilometer. The fact is both these cars affected a large number of Chinese people’s choices of cars, but unfortunately all of them were not equipped with air conditioning and unable to cope with the summer heat in Chongqing, thus was phrased out of the market eventually .

1995年3月25日,红色涂装、外形小巧、车身灵活的小车下线了,很快被出租车运营公司大批量投放进市场,这就是后来风靡重庆的“奥拓”车。长安汽车与日本铃木汽车从1984年开始合作,长安引进的铃木的先进技术,奥拓是当时最瞩目的合作成果,根据重庆城区道路狭窄、弯道复杂的特点进行设计,三米多的车身可以让司机做到人车合一,在各种犄角旮旯辗转腾挪,让打车成为普通群众在出行时,除公交和步行外的第三种选择。

On March 25, 1995, the car with red paint, small shape and flexible body came off the production line, and was soon put into the market by taxi operators in large quantities, which was later the “Alto” car that swept Chongqing. Changan Automobile and Suzuki Automobile of Japan began to cooperate in 1984, and the advanced technology of Suzuki introduced by Changan and Alto were the most remarkable cooperation results at that time. Based on the characteristics of narrow roads and complex curves in Chongqing urban area, the three-meter body of Alto allows the drive to move around in various corners, so that taxi becomes the third alternative other than walking and bus-taking for ordinary people to move around.

在奥拓出现的前一年,1994年,重庆市政府就建成了首个CNG(Compressed Natural Gas压缩天然气)加气站,决心开始发展CNG公交车和出租车。CNG作为一种清洁能源,相比于传统的汽油或柴油,燃烧后主要生成物为二氧化碳和水,能显著减少一氧化碳、二氧化碳、二氧化硫等气体的排放,对环境非常友好,虽然使用CNG的汽车动力逊色于燃油但费用更低。长安作为重庆本土企业,敏锐把握到这一变化,因此调整设计,加大了奥拓的尺寸,在提升乘客舒适度的同时还能满足尾箱放置CNG气瓶的需求,最终于1999年正式推出了“羚羊”,并且将涂改改为了醒目的柠檬黄,自此,初代“黄色法拉利”渐现雏形。

In 1994, the year before Alto appeared, the Chongqing government built the first CNG (Compressed Natural Gas) refueling station, determined to start the development of CNG buses and taxis. Compared with traditional gasoline or diesel, CNG is a kind of clean energy friendly to the environment. The main product after combustion is carbon dioxide and water, which can significantly reduce carbon monoxide, carbon dioxide, sulfur dioxide and other gases emissions. Although the power of CNG cars is inferior to fuel ones, the cost is lower. As a local enterprise in Chongqing, Changan was keen to grasp this change, so it adjusted the design and increased the size of Alto, which could not only improve the comfort of passengers, but also make it possible to place the CNG cylinders in the tail box. Finally, in 1999, the “Antelope” was officially launched, and the color was changed to eye-catching lemon yellow. Since then, the initial “yellow Ferrari” has gradually emerged.

随后长安紧跟市场需求,又在2008年推出了“羚羊”的升级款——“天语SX4”,不仅为乘客提供了更高的乘坐舒适性,还质量可靠、操控性强,创造了百万公里无大修的奇迹。要知道,在重庆,出租车执行的是6年强制报废,每年行驶里程约为20万公里,在整个百万公里行驶中,司机师傅们最不可接受的就是发动机或其它主要零部件出故障,对于他们来讲,运营时间就等于收入。凭着过硬的整车质量,在司机师傅娴熟技术的加持下,“黄色法拉利”终于成为了重庆街头一道亮丽的风景线,也成为了一代人对于出租车的共同记忆。

Subsequently, Changan closely followed the market trend, and in 2008 launched the upgrade of the “antelope” – “Tianyu SX4”, which not only provides passengers with higher ride comfort, but also reliable quality and strong control, creating a miracle of running millions of kilometers without overhaul. In Chongqing, the regulation for taxis is mandatory scrapping after six years, and usually the annual mileage for each taxi is about 200,000 kilometers. In the entire journey of million kilometers drive, what concerned the driver most is the performance of engine and other major parts, because  time is money. With the excellent quality of the vehicle and the skilled techniques of the driver, the “yellow Ferrari” has finally become a beautiful landscape on the streets of Chongqing, and has also become the common memory of a generation of taxis.

2014年,长安又适时推出了新车“启悦”。在这一年,UBER进入中国,已经成立两年的快的打车和滴滴打车公司在相继推出服务更贴心的专车服务的同时,网约车价格补贴大战一触即发,并且新能源车的势头渐起,所有人都感受到一个新时代正大步流星地迈入百姓日常生活。

In 2014, Changan launched a new car “Qiyue”. In this year, with the participation of UBER into the Chinese market, the competition among domestic online ride hailing platforms including Kuaidi and Didi was intensified in terms of services and prices, and new energy vehicles were getting the momentum, all sending the signal of an upcoming new era in cars.

后来, 2019年8月200辆纯电动新能源巡游出租车在重庆主城开始试运营,三年后,重庆市政府又提出未来三年中心城区新增出租车将全部使用电动汽车。“黄色法拉利”还是“黄色法拉利”,只是越来越多绿牌,长安在与铃木分道扬镳后,大力发展新能源汽车,与众多非黄色涂装的网约车一起,为满足百姓的出行需求提供更优质的服务。

Later in August 2019, 200 pure electric new energy cruise taxis began trial operation in the main urban areas of Chongqing, and three years later, the Chongqing government proposed that all new taxis in the central city will use electric vehicles in the next three years. “Yellow Ferrari” is still working but with more “green plate” representing daily access to all areas. After being parted ways with Suzuki, Changan vigorously developped new energy vehicles(NEVs). Together with many non-yellow painted private cars who provide online car-hailing services, NEVs are meeting the mobility needs of Chongqing citizens.
